Steel galvanizing is obtained by moving substrates continuously through the PVDG module. This includes a zinc plasma evaporator and a vapor confinement vessel that allows the control of the coating thickness around the product and contributes to the efficient use of zinc.
GALVANIZING
The activation of the steel surface prior to galvanizing is critical to achieve high adhesion of the coating. Activation is realized by removing any contamination and oxide layers from the steel surface under argon ion bombardment by a proprietary high efficiency and high density plasma source specially adapted to the application.
